I love everything wedding and happen to be a bride-to-be this coming summer! As I have spent hours upon hours finding inspiration from other brides I figured I would start putting my ideas together to share with family, friends and perhaps other brides on the hunt for budget friendly wedding inspiration. A little about me - I love pancakes in the morning with peanut butter and syrup; playing with my "fur kids" Bailey May and Kohen Elliot; finding new restaurants with Jonnathan; taking random road trips and singing at the top of my lungs when no one is around! It’s February and yet today clearly felt like Spring. Warm sunshine filled my living room, birds chirped outside the window and I felt an unnatural desire to go outdoors and sing a tune from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty “I know you, I walked with you once upon a dream” - WOW! What’s up with that?! Giddy seeing our long lost friend…the sun… I pranced around the house excited to do something outside, although not sure what. Then the rain came….as she always does….which reminded me of one of my biggest wedding day fears: RAIN!!!! NOoooooOOOOO!!!! Our entire “mood” of the wedding has everything to do with being married under a canopy of Oak trees with beautiful natural surroundings and lots of candles….so what if it rains???
These brides happily braved the rain on their special day - why shouldn’t I? Right?
I’m convinced I need to go out and purchase some “just-in-case-it-rains” boots! In fact I really love the look of them so much maybe we’ll do our engagement photos featuring rain boots! Hmmm we’ll see! I’ve seen so many options on sale at both DSW and Nordstroms. I better get some before they’re out of my size!!!
