I love everything wedding and happen to be a bride-to-be this coming summer! As I have spent hours upon hours finding inspiration from other brides I figured I would start putting my ideas together to share with family, friends and perhaps other brides on the hunt for budget friendly wedding inspiration. A little about me - I love pancakes in the morning with peanut butter and syrup; playing with my "fur kids" Bailey May and Kohen Elliot; finding new restaurants with Jonnathan; taking random road trips and singing at the top of my lungs when no one is around! My love for everything wedding began as a young girl dreaming of that special day. I was that girl - you know the tall one, who bites her nails, doesn’t like to brush her hair and would rather write make believe stories, play barbies and talk about boy crushes. At the age of six I already had a binder full of magazine clippings with images of my dream winter wedding. We’re talking pink and purple uplighting, sparkling Aspen trees lining the isle, and a gorgeous white gown, cathedral train and of course a fur muff and a horse drawn carriage. Maybe something like this:
Things have changed a bit since then. I still love the extravagent, but even more the small sentiments that make the day that much more memorable. And I still chew my nails, but am not quite the ragamuffin I was before :)
The love of my life and best friend proposed this last summer and we are getting married in August!! Planning our special day has been more than incredible! I have stumbled upon some incredible blogs and resources that have inspired a deep passion for everything wedding!
